Warranty Coverage for Exterior Cleaning & Paver Sealing Services
This document outlines the scope of coverage provided by Pressure-Pro Washing Services, customer responsibilities, conditions that may void the warranty, and the limitations of services performed.
What Our Warranty Covers
Pressure-Pro Washing Services provides a limited warranty for residential paver sealing applications performed using professional-grade commercial sealers. For applicable projects, we warrant the sealed surface against defects in workmanship or sealer material failure.
Pressure-Pro provides a limited warranty of up to 2 years on qualifying residential paver sealing services, provided the customer complies with all maintenance and care requirements.
If a covered issue occurs during the warranty period, Pressure-Pro Washing Services will, at its sole discretion: re-service the affected area, repair the affected section, perform corrective treatment, or provide a partial or full refund.
Our Right to Inspect & Repair
By contracting Pressure-Pro Washing Services, the customer agrees that Pressure-Pro must be given the first opportunity to inspect and resolve any concerns related to the service performed.
Important Notice
If you believe there is a defect or issue related to our work, you must contact Pressure-Pro to schedule an inspection before any third-party contractor performs work on the surface. Failure to provide this opportunity may result in voiding of warranty coverage.
Pressure-Pro reserves the right to inspect the surface, re-service the affected area, perform repairs or corrections, and determine the appropriate course of action. Customer satisfaction is a top priority; however, employee safety and proper service procedures always take precedence.
What Our Warranty Does NOT Cover
Exterior surfaces are exposed to environmental factors that are outside the control of Pressure-Pro Washing Services. The following conditions are naturally occurring or circumstantial and cannot be prevented through cleaning or sealing.
Efflorescence
Efflorescence is a natural chemical process that occurs in cement-based materials such as concrete pavers. It appears as a white or powdery haze on the surface and is caused by water-soluble salts migrating through the paver and rising to the surface during evaporation.
- May appear before or after sealing
- Sealing can reduce or slow the process but cannot eliminate it
- Covered areas often experience more efflorescence due to lack of rain exposure
- Pressure cleaning may temporarily trigger efflorescence by saturating the pavers
Efflorescence is a natural chemical process and is not covered under the Pressure-Pro warranty.
Paver Deterioration / Surface Degradation
Concrete pavers are composed of cement paste and aggregate materials. Over time, environmental conditions can cause the upper layer of the paver to wear down.
- Exposure of underlying aggregate
- Fading or discoloration
- Surface erosion
- Loss of the original paver color layer
Surface deterioration caused by UV exposure, traffic, weather, pool chemicals, or irrigation is not covered.
Ants & Insects
Ants and burrowing insects may tunnel through joint sand between pavers. Sealing does not prevent insects from entering or exiting these areas.
- Insect activity is a natural occurrence
- Standard insect control products may be applied without damaging the sealed surface
Insect activity and related sand displacement are not covered under this warranty.
Weeds, Mold & Organic Growth
Exterior surfaces are constantly exposed to airborne seeds, moisture, and organic growth. While sealing can help slow growth, no sealing system can completely prevent weeds, mold, mildew, or algae from developing over time.
- Professional cleaning treatments and inhibitors are applied during service
- Regrowth cannot be guaranteed against
- White vinegar for weed removal and diluted bleach for mold are safe maintenance options
Organic growth including weeds, mold, mildew, and algae are not covered.
Stains
Pressure-Pro utilizes professional cleaning equipment and specialized chemical treatments to remove stains whenever possible. However, some stains penetrate deeply into porous materials and cannot be fully removed without damaging the surface.
- Oil, paint, rust, and mineral deposit stains may be permanent
- Complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed
- Stain treatment fees cover labor and materials, not guaranteed results
- Sealed surfaces are stain-resistant but not stain-proof
Stains or incomplete stain removal are not covered under warranty.
Joint Sand Movement
Joint sand between pavers may naturally shift, erode, or settle over time due to environmental factors.
- Rain and weather exposure
- Vehicle traffic
- Improper drainage or downspout runoff
- Wide joint spacing or poor base installation
Sand erosion resulting from environmental conditions or underlying installation issues is not covered.
Moisture-Related Whitening
In rare cases, sealed surfaces may develop a white or cloudy appearance due to moisture trapped beneath the pavers or in the substrate.
- Pavers installed over concrete slabs
- Excess moisture in the base layer
- Poor drainage conditions
- Previous sealers on the surface
Whitening caused by underlying moisture conditions is not covered by warranty.
Previous Sealer Removal (Stripping)
If a project involves stripping previous sealers, results may vary depending on the type, thickness, and condition of the existing coating.
- Goal is to remove the majority of existing coating
- Complete removal cannot always be guaranteed
- Stripping services are billed based on labor and materials
Projects involving stripping of previous sealers are not covered under this warranty.
Sheen, Shine & Color Enhancement
Different paver materials and colors react differently to sealing products. The level of gloss, sheen, or color enhancement achieved may vary.
- Surface porosity affects results
- Paver age and condition impact appearance
- Color of pavers influences final look
- Environmental factors play a role
Pressure-Pro does not guarantee any specific level of shine, gloss, or color enhancement.
Slippery Surfaces
Sealing may alter the traction characteristics of some surfaces. Although traction additives may be used in certain areas, Pressure-Pro cannot guarantee that sealed surfaces will not become slippery under certain conditions.
- Wet surfaces may be more slippery after sealing
- Traction additives are available upon request
Pressure-Pro is not responsible for slips, falls, or injuries occurring on sealed surfaces.
Tire Marks
Some tires contain compounds known as plasticizers that can transfer onto sealed surfaces, especially during sharp turns or abrupt acceleration.
- Avoid sharp turns or pivoting tires for at least 10 days after service
- Hot tires are more likely to leave marks
Tire marks are not covered under this warranty.
Landscaping & Plant Life
Pressure-Pro takes reasonable precautions to protect surrounding landscaping during cleaning services. However, some plants may experience temporary stress from cleaning solutions or environmental exposure.
- Most plants recover naturally
- Pre-wetting and rinsing procedures are followed
Pressure-Pro is not responsible for plant damage resulting from service operations.
Repairs & Structural Paver Issues
If paver repairs or re-leveling are performed before sealing, those services are considered temporary corrective measures. Underlying issues are beyond the control of Pressure-Pro.
Any repairs or adjustments performed do not carry warranty coverage, and future movement of the pavers is not the responsibility of Pressure-Pro Washing Services.
Actions That Will Void Your Warranty

Customers must contact Pressure-Pro before allowing other contractors to perform work on the sealed surface.
